Vacation Lake Chelan and its Affiliates do not guarantee the accuracy of, and disclaim liability for inaccuracies relating to the pricing and description of the vacation rental properties and other travel products displayed on this website (including, without limitation, photographs, property descriptions, amenities, pricing, etc.) Changes and improvements to descriptions and pricing may be made at any time and without notice.
Property and product offers are based on current availability and pricing, and cannot be guaranteed until a signed Agreement and payment have been received.
Bedding options are only meant to provide a partial list, other options may apply.
Policies and Procedures:
All policies and procedures can have variations and exceptions according to the owner's specifications. Please check under the rates section of the property you have booked for any changes or variations to the policies below.
Booking and Payment:
Payment must be made by the same person who books and signs the rental agreement. VLC will hold the reservation on the booking date, however, a Security/Damage deposit, along with the signed return of the rental agreement is required to confirm a reservation. Vacation Lake Chelan will accept personal check, cashiers check, or money order.
The total rental amount must be received by Vacation Lake Chelan ninety (90) days prior to the occupancy date. In the event a reservation is made less than 90 days prior to the arrival date, the total rental amount is due within one (1) week of the listed booking date. If final payment is not received by the date due, this agreement may be considered cancelled by the tenant and VLC will then proceed with the cancellation policy listed below.
Cancellation policy:
All cancellations must be done in writing by official letter. Cancellations for any reason received from time of booking up to 61 days prior to arrival forfeit 50% of the total. Cancellations for any reason received 60 days or less prior to arrival forfeit the full amount paid. If the property is re-booked 80% of the rental amount paid will be refunded (excluding the security/damage deposit). The security/damage deposit per property is non-refundable if this reservation is canceled.
Security/Damage refund policy:
- Tenants are responsible for any damage they may cause during their stay. Liability is not limited to the deposit amount. If damage caused by the tenant to any part of the rental property exceeds the amount of the security/damage deposit, tenant understands and agrees that they are responsible to pay the additional cost for replacement or repair of damaged items. Tenants and their guests agree to adhere to local laws, applicable condo rules and regulations, to not disturb the peace, keep the property in a clean and sanitary condition, and will comply with the no smoking and no pets rule.
- Tenant agrees to follow check-out procedure, remove garbage to outside receptacles as indicated, and leave the kitchen clean with all dishes washed and put away. Missing keys are $25.00 each, garbage removal $25.00, kitchen cleaning $25.00, extensive carpet cleaning $50.00. If applicable, the above listed amounts will be deducted from your security deposit refund.
- The Security/Damage deposit will be refunded within 14 days if the property is vacated undamaged and with the inventory intact.
We reserve the right to provide accommodations of equal or greater value, at no extra charge, if it becomes necessary to relocate a guest or group should a property become unavailable.
Eviction policy:
Tenants are subject to immediate eviction and removal from the rental for the following reasons: (1) Smoking inside rental. (2) Pets on the rental property without prior approval written on this agreement. (3) Number of occupants exceeds the number of contracted guests. (4) Complaints of noise, loud music, foul language, or otherwise disturbing of the peace. (5) Use of tents, campers, or motor homes on the rental property. The entire amount of rent and security/damage deposit will be forfeited if eviction occurs.
Hold Harmless:
Any damages that may be claimed by Customer against Vacation Lake Chelan for alleged breach of this Agreement shall be limited to the total amount of monies paid and shall specifically exclude any indirect, special, consequential or punitive damages. Each party to this Agreement consents and submits to personal jurisdiction over the party by, and venue in, the courts of the State of Washington in and for Chelan County, Washington regarding any legal action arising from, or otherwise related to, this Agreement.
The tenant and guest, hereto fore agree to indemnify and hold harmless Vacation Lake Chelan and represented property owners from and against all claims, demands, loss, liability of any kind and character, including cost of defense, arising out of or in any way connected with the tenant's use of the property: in the event tenants or guests suffer personal, physical, property damage, injury, or loss. Vacation Lake Chelan and property owners are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
